Easter 2024

Easter 2024

The weeks just before and just after the Easter break are when our school is busiest. Our Leaving Certificate students are focused as they begin meeting deadlines for projects and undertaking oral examinations. Our Junior Cycle students are completing CBAs and preparing for their final exams. Subject choices have been made, CAO forms completed and the parents of our incoming First Year students are welcomed into the school. There is a sense of growth and moving on and renewed motivation. The daffodils are in bloom and new life is beginning to fill the school grounds.

Just as the resurrection of Christ renews hope for Catholics so this time of ‘business’ for our Sixth Year students renews their hope and reminds them of their purpose. It energises us all.

I would like to wish our Sixth Years the very best of luck as they undertake their oral examination this week and complete important project work in the coming weeks.

I would also like to wish the whole school community a Happy Easter. May you enjoy the break and be able to focus upon all the positives and gifts that you have at this time.
