Gavin James Late Late Show 3 April 2020

Gavin James hasn't let the Covid-19 crisis stop him from performing and entertaining his fans. Last Friday night, 3 April 2020, he appeared as a guest on the Late Late Show with Miriam O'Callaghan. He was there to support an appeal which the ALONE charity was making to the Late Late show audience.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ALONE and fellow St Declan's College past pupil, Seán Moynihan, was launching an appeal on the programme for financial support as their resources have come under tremendous pressure over the last few weeks. While Seán explained about the work of ALONE and its volunteers Gavin held the nation spell bound with his beautiful and heartfelt renditions of 'Over the Rainbow' and his own song 'Always' (Gavin James / Ollie Green).

This follows on from a live concert he streamed from his own home on 25 March 2020, 'Gavin James Live from Gav's Gaff', which he performed in aid of ALONE. Gavin's two songs from the Late Late Show and the live streamed concert are available on YouTube and can be played below.

Gavin has carved out a wonderful career as a singer/songwriter and has captured his journey this far in life through an amazing gift for songwriting and playing. He has the ability to lose himself in the moment of performance and transport his audiences on an emotional journey with him.

As ever we are very proud of his achievements and ask you to support him in his work at fundraising for ALONE. We are all longing for this crisis to be over when once again we can listen and enjoy hearing him live in concert.
