School Mass
Our whole school mass takes place tomorrow in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Cabra West at 2.15pm. It will be celebrated by the school chaplain Fr Michael O'Grady PP. During the mass we will remember and pray for all who died during the Covid years. We will also be praying for those who are sitting State Examinations this year as well as for any special intention students and their families may wish to have remembered.
A remembrance book and a special intentions book are available for students to include the names of anyone they have lost as well as writing an intention they wish to have remembered.
You can join us in our celebration by tuning in using the link >>>>>>>>>>Mass from the Most Precious Blood Cabra

Culture Café
One of the highlights in store for students this week will be the opportunity to experience the food, dress, language and customs drawn from the countries of our diverse student population. Culture Café will take place this week on Thursday and Friday.
On Thursday students from the African nations will play host to the event. On Friday it will be the turn of our Indian students. It should be a wonderful rich experience for all who visit.

Quiz Masters - Inter-Cultural Week
The opening event for Inter-Cultural week was held in the library today with a quiz for the first year group. The quiz was prepared, presented and run by Transition year and Senior cycle students, Noel Neju, Daniel Kellher, Conor Maleady, Lorcan Cullen, Stephen Casserly and Alexis Tony. It was a hugely enjoyable event where quiz teams made up by a mix of students from each class were challenged with five rounds of fifteen questions each. Every round explored a different topic testing the contestants knowledge of world geography, food and clothing among other things.
Quiz master for the day was Conor Maleady who presented the questions in his own unique, humorous and competent style. Busy on the laptop so the questions were visible for all was Lorcan Cullen who had spent countless hours putting the quiz together. Correcting the team sheets and crunching the numbers to find the overall winning team was Noel Neju and Stephen Casserly. Meanwhile, Daniel Kellher and Alexis Tony looked after the setting up and logistics for a very well run event.
