Declan's finest pursuing All-Ireland glory

Best wishes to Nkemjika Onwumereh (Metro St Brigid's AC)) and Oliver Hopkins (Donore Harriers AC) who will be competing tomorrow at the Irish Life Health All-Ireland Schools Track and Field Championships in Tullamore.

Only a fortnight ago both students claimed gold in their respective races at the Leinster Track and Field Championships, Morton Stadium, Santry.
Nkemjika competed in the Senior boys 100m & 200m races while Oliver ran in the Intermediate boys 1500m.
Especially impressive was Nkemjika's double gold, running each race within a short interval of each other. Oliver went one better on his West Leinster performance replacing his silver with gold on this occasion.
They were outstanding on the day rightly earning a place as provincial champions in tomorrow's season finale.
Congratulations is due also to Mr Burke for his hard work with both students over the years helping them towards this goal.
