Best wishes to all of our Junior & Leaving Certificate students 2022
On the eve of the beginning of the State examinations 2022 we would like to extend best wishes to each student who is sitting his Junior or Leaving Certificate. It has been a long journey to get to this point. Rest assured that you will be in our thoughts and prayers over the coming weeks.
A last minute reminder regarding preparations for tomorrow and the exams:
- Please arrive early. On the first day of the exams it is important to arrive to school in good time. Notices are posted around the school letting each Leaving Certificate student know where their examination centre room is . All Junior Certificate students are in the school hall.
- Check the timetable. Know when your examinations are taking place and if there are any changes in rooms. This is especially important for the aural examinations.
- Full uniform, including school shoes must be worn by students for the duration of the exams.
- Pack the night before so that you have the correct materials with you. Blue or black pen only is to be used when filling your exam booklets. Colouring pencils and pens can be used for diagrams. Remember to have rulers, erasers, parers, calculators etc with you.
- Under no circumstances should anything be brought into an exam centre other than those items mentioned above. Phones, smart watches etc are not allowed.
- If you are feeling unwell, are sick or anything happens which may prevent you from sitting an exam please contact me by email or let myself or Ms Byrne know on the day.
- Make sure to eat well, hydrate and get plenty of rest.
- Remain in the exam centre for the full time of your exam, it is the only way of assuring you answer the paper to the best of your ability
