Current senior cycle student Jack Madden recently took part in the Artist Mentoring programme, facilitated by student art teachers of the National College of Art & Design. The aim of the programme is to introduce second-level students to various processes & techniques they are expected to utilise in art college, as well as getting students started on their preparations for submitting a portfolio; a requirement when applying for art college. Upon completion of the programme, Jack was given the opportunity to display his finalised work at the NCAD.
