November Remembrance

November Remembrance

In St Declan's College we reflect on November as the month of Holy Souls. A Remembrance Tree is adorned with leaves bearing names of loved ones who have died and placed at the entrance to the school. Students, in Religion classes have inscribed these leaves, turning the tree into a living memorial.

The Remembrance Tree, a symbol of timeless connection, invites students to walk past and reflect on the enduring bonds with their departed loved ones. Each leaf isn't just a name - for all students of the college writing and decorating these leaves is an opportunity to remember and reflect on their loved ones, and for those of faith is an act of prayer.

May we live our lives treasuring the memories of those precious ones we have known and loved. We trust Lord that you are treasuring them with us
