Students who are restricting movement - Update 12 March 2021

The HSE has this evening updated the situation for students who are restricting movements. They will text you appointments for two COVID-19 tests.

The first test will be today or tomorrow and the second test will be on or around Monday 15 March 2021.

You have the choice whether or not to take the second test.

If the second test is negative and your child is well without symptoms he may stop restricting movements and can return to school on Friday 19th March 2021.

However, if he takes only one test and the result is negative he will have to wait until 22 March 2021 to return. In order to return I will be asking you to provide evidence of having been tested and the results.
