We are holding our annual Christmas Jumper Day in aid of our local Saint Vincent de Paul on Wednesday 10th of December.
All students are asked to wear a Christmas jumper/hat/outfit and donate €2. This money will be used by our prefects to buy food for hampers for local families in need. With this money the prefects purchase long-lasting, nourishing food that can really help a family in need during the difficult winter months. Through this the boys also learn the lengths all families need to go to to budget wisely and how hard it can be to make ends meet.
To add some Christmas sparkle to the hampers all junior students are asked to also donate a 'sweet treat'. This could be a selection box, a tin of biscuits, a tin of hot chocolate and so on. These 'sweet treats' will be collected by prefects during Tutor Class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (8th - 10th ). All donations are appreciated.
The boys are encouraged to make these donations from their own money is possible. Look out for some festive photos on our Instagram page on Wednesday!
