On Monday St Declan's was the site of some filming as some of our Fifth and Sixth Years took part in the filming of a documentary about past pupil Dr Brian Pennie and his insights into addiction.
Our students gave their thoughts on screen/phone addiction and discussed some art projects they had been working on. After this three of the students travelled to DCU to meet some neuroscientists and learn more about effect phone usage is having on their brains.
Well done to all of the students who took part and their teacher Ms McGinley. We look forward to inviting Brian back to his old school to speak to the boys in the future.
